Lalit Kalra obtained his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of Windsor, Faculty of Law. Shortly thereafter, and after being called to the Bar in Ontario, he started his own practice to provide personalized service to the public.
He is a litigation lawyer practicing in the Greater Toronto Area and other surrounding areas. His clients are located in Toronto, Brampton, Mississauga, North York, Scarborough, Markham, Richmond Hill, Newmarket, Oshawa, Milton, and Hamilton. His practice focuses on criminal law, quasi-criminal law, employment law, family law, human rights law, personal injury law, professional disciplinary matters, and general civil litigation.
Lalit has gained a broad and diverse litigation experience over his career, which includes working for criminal defence firms, the Crown Attorney’s office, and at a mid-size downtown full service firm with a focus on civil litigation. Lalit has also had a unique opportunity to work with judges as a judicial clerk during a semester of law school. He has represented individual and institutional clients at tribunals, the Ontario Court of Justice, and at the Superior Court of Justice.
